Oil on cradled panel. 11” x 14” x 3/4”.     Last night we had the amazing opportunity to see RH pioneers at Mr Smalls  and listen to some of their newer blugrassish sounding songs which are really a sound of their own. When leaving, I snapped a few pictures of children’s hospital light up by the setting sun, viewed from Millvale. I decided to use those photos as a reference for painting creating this painting early this morning. Though painting from photos can make measuring values and perspective challenging, I am happy with how this one turned out.
